Hello, All and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
After I finally settled on a Kubota BX23, I went to look at them. I have about 8 acres, 2 of which is clear, and a 400' driveway to plow. With much tree planting and stump removal to be done, a backhoe is needed. Although it is probably capable of what I need, I am concerned about the BX's ground clearance. Further, the 'Bota dealer wants to steal my trade-in.
I am now looking at Kioti. Hydro is important to me. I am making the trip to PA Monday to look at and operate them. What should I be expecting? Are there any areas of concern in these units? What should I expect to pay for a CK20HST with a KL120 loader and KB1440 backhoe?
I searched the board for information on these and came up with only a handful of posts, mostly glowing. Are these really that good? Should I be concerned about the future avalability of parts?
Thank you for the info, dp

In talking with the Kioti rep and other dealers here, I don't think parts or dealers will be a problem. Thye have made a sizable investment recently in building parts distribution centers and improving dealers (ie weeding out the bad ones). They were originally imported by a import export company in the states and more recently it has been direct from Daejong the parent company.
The only other company that builds all the components and markets their tractors in the US is Kubota.
The CK20 is a new unit this year so it may have the new model blues, but as we have seen relatively few problems it is likely like the DK series which has been good.
The loaders and backhoe are made in the US so? ....

Hello, All:
I finally made the trip to PA to look at the CK and am glad I did. This is a fantastic tractor for the money. It is as comfortable as any machine I've ever been on. My only complaint is a significant loss of power with the hydro. I'm told that the new CK25 and CK30 are on their way to production and will be available "soon". If they get it right, this will be one heck of a machine for the competiton to beat.
As far as a dealer, if you are anywhere near NE Pennsylvania head right to Wallace tractor. Great people, good information, and just plain good company.
I just hope I can hold out until Kioti starts making these available... ....
